Bikes for Partners on Noteflight
I frequently use Noteflight to create accompaniments for songs I teach my kids in class. It's very useful in that way; I also like that you can export the file to Garageband, and from there I can continue to manipulate it- change the timbre, etc.- and add loops to make it unique. Noteflight is very useful to me as a teacher; I have not, however, tried to use it to teach my kids directly. That is, I have not introduced it to students, taught them how to use it, directed them to notate/compose anything. Perhaps someday, but given the considerable roadblocks to success I face in my district, I just don't feel like I am able to do that and ensure success for my students.
